How do we know which service is right for our family?
We recommend starting with a free introductory call. A care coordinator will ask about your loved one's current situation, daily routines, and any specific concerns your family has. From there, we suggest a starting point — and adjust as we learn more about what works best.
Can we try a service before committing to a long-term arrangement?
Yes. The Social Engagement Visits and Medical Appointment Management services are available on a per-session basis. This gives your family a chance to see how your loved one responds before considering a more comprehensive arrangement.
What areas of Taipei do you serve?
We currently cover Xinyi, Da'an, Zhongzheng, Songshan, and Zhongshan districts within Taipei City. If you are located outside these areas, please contact us — we may be able to accommodate depending on availability and proximity.
How do you select and train care companions?
Each companion goes through a structured interview, criminal background check, reference verification, and a period of supervised in-field training before taking on independent assignments. We also look for individuals who demonstrate patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with older adults.
What happens if our needs change over time?
Needs often shift as health conditions or family circumstances evolve. We build flexibility into all programs. For clients on our All-Inclusive Wellness Program, monthly family reviews are specifically designed to catch these changes early and adjust accordingly. For session-based services, scheduling changes can be made with reasonable notice.
Is our family's private information kept confidential?
All personal and medical information shared with Tidalgrove is handled with strict confidentiality. Our staff are bound by formal agreements, and client data is stored securely and only accessible to those directly involved in the care arrangement.
