Who We Are, and Why It Matters
Tidalgrove was built around a simple conviction: older adults deserve consistent, respectful support — and families deserve peace of mind.

Founded in Taipei, Rooted in Family
Tidalgrove began in 2016 when our founders — themselves navigating the complexities of caring for ageing parents — recognized a significant gap in Taipei's home care landscape. Existing options were either too clinical, too expensive, or too impersonal. They set out to create something different.
Starting with a small team of five, Tidalgrove focused on building genuine connections between care companions and the older adults they served. Early clients told us the same thing: what made the difference wasn't the checklist of tasks completed — it was the warmth of the person showing up.
That observation has shaped everything we have built since. Our hiring, training, program design, and quality standards all flow from the same source: the belief that how care feels is just as important as the tasks it accomplishes.
Our Mission
To support older adults in Taipei in living fully and comfortably at home — with care that respects their individuality, preserves their independence, and keeps their families informed and reassured.
Core Values
- Dignity — Every older adult is treated as a full person with preferences, history, and agency.
- Transparency — Families are never left guessing. We communicate proactively and honestly.
- Continuity — Where possible, the same companion works with the same client. Familiarity matters.
- Accountability — We hold ourselves to consistent standards and invite feedback at every stage.

Our Standards
How We Maintain Quality Across Every Program
Verified Staff Credentials
All companions hold valid National Health Insurance registration and undergo criminal record verification before placement.
Structured Onboarding Program
New team members complete a two-week supervised training covering elder communication, emergency protocols, and practical care skills.
Post-Visit Reporting
After every visit, companions complete a brief structured report accessible to the family, noting activities, mood observations, and any concerns.
Confidentiality Protocols
All staff sign formal confidentiality agreements. Client data and household information are handled under strict privacy guidelines in line with Taiwanese data protection standards.
Quarterly Team Reviews
Companion performance is reviewed each quarter using structured assessments that include client feedback, attendance records, and care quality indicators.
Emergency Response Readiness
Every companion is trained in basic first aid and carries an emergency contact protocol card with family numbers and local emergency service procedures for Taipei.
In-Home Elderly Support in Taipei's Xinyi District
Tidalgrove operates from Xinyi District and serves families across central Taipei seeking structured, dependable home-based support for older relatives. Our service model centers on matching each senior with a companion whose background and approach fits their personality and situation — not simply filling a scheduling slot.
From short social engagement visits to full monthly wellness programs, every arrangement we offer reflects genuine attention to the individual's circumstances. Families who work with us often tell us that the most meaningful outcome isn't any specific task — it's knowing that someone they trust is consistently looking after their loved one.
Our team continues to grow carefully, maintaining close oversight of service quality at each stage. We do not take on more clients than we can serve well. That discipline is part of what keeps the standard of care consistent for every family who trusts us with their parent or grandparent.
